Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour: Pedaling for an End to MS!

Hauppauge, NY September 4, 2004 -- Every week 200 people are diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis – the chronic, often disabling disease that attacks a person's nervous system. On Sept. 12, the MS Bike "Tour for a Cure," will begin and end at Byron Lake State Park in Oakdale. This is an event your readers can participate in as well as attend to show their support.

Open to riders of all ages, the Bike Tour takes cyclists on a scenic journey through the splendor of Long Island's east end. For the casual participant, the ten and twenty-mile routes are the perfect choice. For the intermediate rider looking for a bit of a challenge, the 50-mile route is ideal. And for seasoned and experienced riders who want to put their bodies and will power to the test, the new 100-mile shore-to-shore route is the ultimate choice. All routes are clearly marked and patrolled by SAG vehicles and volunteers to ensure the riders safety.
